Vision: The Watershed Resilience Grants Group’s vision is to provide natural hazard mitigation professional services to ALL who need, want, and deserve the resources to identify and develop natural hazard mitigation projects in their communities.

Mission: Provide professional guidance and support to jurisdictions, organizations, and tribes to identify, find funding for, and manage natural hazard mitigation projects to build and support sustainable community resilience, regardless of their ability to pay.

Goal: Provide economic and socially vulnerable communities with the knowledge and resources to develop natural hazard mitigation projects, identify project funding opportunities, submit project funding applications to the appropriate entities, and support the management of those projects.  

Initial Actions:

1. Support economic and socially vulnerable jurisdictions, organizations, and tribes to develop hazard mitigation projects and submit funding applications to the awarding agency or organization.

2. Support jurisdictions, organizations, and tribes to manage and closeout their current natural hazard mitigation projects.

3. Develop strong relationships between WRGG and our communities that need support.
